Gabriel’s goal from the onset in establishing Brutto Law was to provide a bespoke experience to a client that was different from that of a traditional law practice. He is personally involved in every deal and is very passionate about ensuring that clients are comfortable and treated with respect. Gabriel takes great pride in educating clients on the legal process involved in all facets of the real estate world. At Brutto Law, clients are never kept in the dark, and Gabriel is readily available to answer any question a client may have.


We want to build a firm that spans many decades and the only way to do that is to treat every customer, partner, client, and team member like they are respected and valued.  No matter who is on the receiving end of each interaction, we care and consider everyone who helps us do what we do and service our clients (including our clients) family.  We know that there will never be a shortage of law firms to choose from, but our goal is to do things differently enough that our clients notice, like it, and choose our firm for many years to come.

Our Principal

Gabriel earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, as well as his Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Prior to establishing Brutto Law, Gabriel worked at a reputable mid-sized full-service firm in downtown Toronto. He also worked at a boutique litigation firm. In his experience, he has touched on a multitude of different practice areas including real estate, property leasing, corporate, contract, and litigation.

Prior to establishing Brutto Law, Gabriel worked at a reputable mid-sized full-service firm in downtown Toronto. He also worked at a boutique litigation firm. In his experience, he has touched on a multitude of different practice areas including real estate, property leasing, corporate, contract, and litigation.

Gabriel’s passion lies in real estate. He has been involved in the land development consulting and planning business since an early age, allowing him to become versed in the planning and approval process of residential, commercial, and industrial property. Additionally, Gabriel spent time in-house for one of the GTA’s most reputable large-volume builders, where he assisted with strategy and landlord-tenant relations.

Hobbies and Interests

Aside from being immersed in the real estate business, Gabriel’s interests include world travel, cooking, sports, and just about anything automotive-related.

Laura Brutto has over 10 years of experience in finance, accounting and operations management. As the Chief Financial Officer, Laura is principally responsible for managing the financial statements, month-end close process, financial reporting, treasury process and internal controls. She is also responsible for filing the corporate income tax and commodity tax returns.

Prior to joining Brutto Law, Laura worked as a Financial Controller at DLL Financial Services and as a Senior Accountant at KPMG in the Financial Services Audit group. Laura also operated as a sole proprietor offering public accounting services after she obtained her Public Accounting License (PAL) with CPA Ontario. She completed review engagements, compilation of financial statements, prepared cash flows and income statement projections and filed corporate tax returns for her clients.

Laura has earned a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) at the University of Western Ontario with a specialization in Finance. She then obtained her Charted Accountant (CA), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation while articling at KPMG.
